After a full year of running out of my shop (and/or bedroom, or in VMware on my desktop, or just ON my desktop), Hostfile has finally found a home on a true, honest to god dedicated (shared) server.

Here are its specs... ready for this? (Thanks to Bluehost for the info)...

  • 2x Dual Core AMD Opteron 370 @ 2GHz (4 cores total), 1mb L2
  • 4gb RAM
  • 2tb HDD space (300gb available to Hostfile)
  • (2x) Ethernet controller: Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5704 Gigabit Ethernet
  • AMCC 9550SX-8LP octo-SATA RAID controller
  • RedHat Linux Enterprise 4 (CentOS)
  • PHP 4.4.4
  • Apache 1.3.37 (Unix)
  • MySQL 4.1.20-standard-log
