Yeah, those errors (500 server explosion?) tend to happen. This fucking server (thank you Dreamhost) has attention-deficit disorder. It literally "stops paying attention" to a running PHP script process during a long upload or download. Freaking pisses me off. Dreamhost claims it's due to resource consumption but I'm pretty certain it has nothing to do with resources, but instead to do with their own idea of resources. It's most likely because too many people hit up the site at once, or two uploads + a download, etc... that makes the server decide to kill the oldest one - the long running download.
tl;dr: My host sucks, but I can't afford anything better :( |

Well, "It's me again, another one of my songs" is enough to let me know to approve just about anything... anything other than "lalalalalalalala" or "i think it is non copyrighted mp3" (or worse, "it's not mine and i want to post it on my blog"... URR!) is awesome with me.
BTW, you can use those awesome little safe-files to keep your MP3s on the site forever and ever... or anything else you want. |

JESUS DICKING CHRIST!
I didn't even know about that! Seriously! I made some changes to the CSS and patched up all the files that needed patching - I guess that file slipped through the cracks!
FOR LIKE, 2 MONTHS!
So for like, 2 months, nobody's said anything about that! I don't ever see that page, so...
Dang, thanks! Enjoy your donorship |

You know, that's how I wish all requests were written (suckup not needed... lul). You know how often I get requests saying "I THINK IT IS NON COPURIGHTED MP3"?
I actually felt like taking a screenshot of all the ones I'd let slip through the cracks over the past month or so (I keep neglecting the approval console even though I get email notification for each one...):

These are typical "excuses"!
(edit: each one of those was denied without even looking at the content of the file... denying = deletion. It's actually quite a well oiled machine, lol!)
